Problem

Fenergo's existing KYC dashboards were described as a 'tangled mess' of irrelevant data and overwhelming clutter. The legacy interface utilised a rigid, one-size-fits-all structure that failed to account for the unique needs of different teams. This lack of flexibility forced users into inefficient workflows, hindering critical decision-making and causing significant frustration among analysts and managers.

Solution

The team developed a fully configurable dashboard system that empowers users to control their own data environment. Instead of a static layout, the new solution allows users to easily configure their screen to display only the metrics and widgets relevant to their specific roles. This resulted in tailored views, such as a 'Manager View' for operational efficiency and an 'Executive View' for high-level strategic insights.

Result

The redesign transformed the user experience by streamlining workflows and reducing the time spent searching for information. By providing clear, actionable insights tailored to each team's specific needs, Fenergo empowered users to make informed decisions faster. The shift to a flexible interface significantly increased productivity and improved overall user satisfaction.

The Challenge

The primary hurdle was moving from “KYC Chaos” to clarity without overcomplicating the interface. The design team needed to deconstruct a legacy system that hindered efficiency and replace it with a solution that accommodated diverse user roles.

The goal was to create a single system that could serve the distinct, complex requirements of Executives, Managers, and Analysts equally well.
